My name is Laura Humbert and here's a little more information
about myself, so you don't think of me as just your teacher!
I am bilingual in, both, French and English and have travelled
all around the world; with a particular soft spot for Asia.
I graduated from The University of New South Wales, in
Sydney, Australia, with a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education,
majoring in French and minoring in Mandarin Chinese. I taught
French in a private school, before moving to Manchester,
where I completed my MA in Linguistics.
In concordance with teaching French, I completed my CELTA.
The last few years have been very busy for me and I have
decided to offer language immersion courses, as I enjoy
teaching and would like to share my passion for languages
with my students, in a completely different environment
than a school.
The courses I offer are perfect for people who have a love
for the French language, yet may have had an off-putting experience
at school or would just like to refine their language skills.
